Dr. Ramzi Haddad

Dr. Ramzi Haddad graduated from the Royal Dental Hospital in London, England in 1982. He subsequently completed his Fellowship in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He worked in various hospitals and dental practices before moving to Canada and starting his own practice as a general dentist.

Since then, he has received various training in the fields of implant dentistry and has become a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He has also become a Las Vegas Institute (LVI) graduate completing the Advanced Aesthetic and Comprehensive Aesthetic Reconstruction courses in cosmetic dentistry. He received training in Neuromuscular Occlusion and treatment of TMJ pain also from LVI.

His extensive training has allowed Dr. Haddad to treat patients in a more comprehensive manner where the teeth and the mouth are looked at as a part of the whole body. A fundamental understanding of neuromuscular occlusion of how the teeth, joints and muscle should function together in harmony, is a prerequisite to reconstruction of the teeth and the whole mouth. With the training in implant dentistry, he not only has the understanding, but the skills and the ability to restore a whole mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Haddad provides various oral surgery procedures such as removal of wisdom teeth, dental implant placement, and other restorative procedures under sedation, so the treatment received is as pleasant as can be in a dental office. He believes in comprehensive dental treatment, but emphasizes education. He believes in presenting as much knowledge to patients to enable them to have the confidence in making their own decisions and therefore contributing to the treatment plan and the final result.

Dr. Satwant Saggu

Dr. Satwant Saggu graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1986 in England. After working in private practice in London, Dr. Saggu moved to Canada and currently runs three dental offices, one located in Brampton, one in Mississauga and in Aurora.

Since then he has had various training in the field of implant dentistry and sedation including intravenous sedation. He is also trained in Cerec and the use of Lasers in dentistry.

This training and many years of clinical experience has allowed Dr. Saggu to build a state of the art facility using all modern technology available today in dentistry to treat patients in a more comprehensive manner where a patient's teeth and face are treated as part of the whole body. This has allowed Dr. Saggu the necessary skills and ability to perform whole mouth reconstruction cases.

His Mississauga office, Urban Dental Centre is a teaching centre. It is currently used to teach implant dentistry as well as Cerec restorations. Through frequent participation in continuing education Dr. Saggu ensures his patients receive the best and most current treatment available.

Dr. Saggu practices in a relaxed spa like environment where no sacrifice has been made to provide the best treatment for all his patients. He works with a team which share his passion and enthusiasm in the field of dentistry.

Meet Our Team

	Shauna (Certified Dental Assistant) Shauna has been working as a Certified Dental Assistant for over 14 years. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has gained much experience working in an Orthodontic, Periodontic Endodontic and Cosmetic Practises. She especially enjoys working with children. Her hobbies include skiing, swimming, rollerblading and cooking.
	Mez (Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist) Mez is a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist. She has been practising dental hygiene for 8 years. Her main focus is to help her patients feel comfortable during their visits and encourage them to improve their dental health. She takes pride in developing a strong rapport with her patients and developing treatment plans that meet their individual needs and personal goals. She continues to educate herself in the latest developments in the dental field, ensuring her patients are given the best choices in achieving optimal health. Away from the office she enjoys watching movies and traveling with her husband.
	Raluca (Registered Dental Hygienist) Raluca is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is passionate about her profession and enjoys helping patients achieve optimal oral health while emphasizing the importance of maintenance and continuous care. Raluca enjoys meeting new people and most of all loves working with children and educating them to care for their oral health. With continuous technology advancements in dentistry Raluca realizes the importance to keep up-to-date therefore she constantly continues her education by enrolling in new courses and participating in seminars and conferences. In the near future Raluca will participate in a volunteer dental camp to start humanitarian work providing dental care to impoverished children around the globe.
	Debbie (Patient Care Coordinator) Debbie has worked in dentistry for 25 years. Starting out as a Chair side Assistant, has given her the knowledge needed to better help patients understand their treatment options and the ability to converse with patients in a way they will understand. Her commitment is to the patient receiving the very best dentistry, and finding ways that will fit their financial needs.
	Madeleine Madeleine has been in the dental profession since April 2000. She has worked as a Certified Dental Assistant at an Orthodontic Office and a General Dental Practitioner. Her passion for dentistry is what motivated her to continue her education and become a Dental Hygienist. Madeleine graduated with honours as a dental hygienist In April of 2011. Her friendly and professional style is evident and the reason that makes her a great addition to Skyview Dental Care. Madeleine is fluent in Spanish. In her spare time she enjoys dancing, Latin music, taking photographs, and snowboarding.
	Anita Anita is the newest member of the Skyview Dental Care Team. She has joined us from Georgian College where she achieved her Level II Dental Assisting Diploma. Anita loves meeting new people and still a works part time at Simcoe Terrace Retirement Community as a Front Receptionist and helps out with their activities. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors: biking, hiking & skiing.
	Maddalena Maddalena has been in the dental field for over 7 years. As a front desk administrator she strives to help patients achieve and maintain good oral health. Her goal is to provide each patient with lot's of personal care and is excited to form lasting relationships with patients and their families. In her spare time, Maddalena enjoys scrapbooking, reading, baking and spending time with her family.
